We use couple shoots to have some valuable time with our couples before their wedding day, to get to know them, to make them feel comfortable, and to adventure. This was Ola and Piotrek’s first time visiting Santorini so we took them to our favourite spot – the Skaros Rock in Imerovigli, one of the most prominent landmarks on the island. We love it so much because the views are breathtaking and it has a romantic feel about it. It’s also our favourite place to watch sunsets in Santorini.

We met our couple about a half-hour before sunrise when the quality of the light was still soft and cool. We love this time of day to take photos – the sun is still behind the horizon, but there is still some ambient light to work with. It gives this quality of peace and stillness to photos, which complements how we pose our couples during our shoots. And although it was tough to get out of bed so early, it’s was more than worth it!
