Humanist Outdoor Wedding In Norfolk
The day began with English tea and canapes in the beryl meadow. This was followed by a rainbow-filled riverside ceremony dappled with Rose’s homegrown plants, herbs, and wildflowers. After the 13 pageboys and bridesmaids walked down the aisle, Rose arrived in her father’s MG while Stevie Winwood’s “Higher Love” echoed from the fields. The humanist ceremony was full of intimacy, intention and plenty of laughs from their officiant, and UK comedian, Ivo Graham.
This outdoor wedding was so fresh and relaxing. As Norfolk wedding photographers, it fits our artistic style perfectly. We especially love capturing humanist ceremonies – personalized vows, extra unique elements such as favourite songs, handfasting, etc. One thing that made this Norfolk wedding stand out was the unified choral singing to Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me”, Sam Cooke’s “Wonderful World” and others. And to top it off, Rose and Julian exited their ceremony to no other than Fat Boy Slim’s “Praise You”.
Continuing this spunky Norfolk wedding, Rose and Julian hosted another round of afternoon drinks before the guests gathered in the barn (appropriately converted into “Club Tropibarna”) for the remainder of the night. Thanks to Rose being a wedding caterer herself, guests feasted on scrumptious food while listening to the disco beats of the groom, DJ Julian. The day was full of endless entertainment, eye-catching prisms, and palpable joy all around.
Congratulations to you both!
