But Glen Coe in western Scotland is without a doubt one of our personal favourites with jaw-dropping natural landscapes. We have a feeling you and your fiancé are a pretty awesome couple if you are considering this gorgeously romantic location for your Scotland elopement.
Glencoe valley has been the backdrop to some of the most popular Blockbuster movies of our time. Do you Bond fans remember when James Bond and M visit Bond’s hometown? It was filmed in the Glen Coe valley called Glen Etive. And if you think the movie’s cinematography is gorgeous, it is even more stunning in person!
For those Hogwart fans, you might also recognize the Scottish Highlands as the backdrop to numerous scenes in the Harry Potter series. Of course a movie that is based on the world of magic would choose Glen Coe for its location!
But this is not at all surprising. Glen Coe is one of the most beautiful valleys in the world with mountains towering on both sides, moody skies, fresh streams and waterfalls and almost otherworldly Black Corries flats nearby.
For our couples who choose to have a Glencoe wedding or elopement, there are plenty of options nearby for hiking, observing (and even feeding) the deer, watching the sunset over the mountains and lakes or sampling world-famous Scottish whiskey. If we are lucky we may even have a chance to see the Northern Lights!

On top of its incessant beauty, Glen Coe valley is quite peaceful. Despite its occasional Hollywood presence, the valley remains a quiet and intimate location where you can focus on being together and committing your life to one another. Additionally, we have been a professional team for years, so you get two different points of view but receive a seamlessly combined finished product.

For years, our portfolio was a deep library of photography focused on weddings. But over time we realized that certain moments and emotions could only be truly recorded with motion and sound. This is why we now offer our photography plus video collection. With this option, you will not only get the photo collection but also a 3-5-minute highlight film of your Scottish wedding shot by us and edited to music with parts of your wedding vows included in the film. (For those of you who would like more extensive coverage, we also offer a longer film option which includes your full ceremony).
