On a sweltering July day, we drove back to one of our favourite venues, the Woodhall Manor in Suffolk. Draped in emerald ivy, the cardinal brick manor encompassed the joyful tears and boisterous cheers of Annabel and Rob’s wedding day. The sounds of Annabel’s contagious laugh could be heard down the manor halls whilst she slipped into her lace and silk dress. An ethereal tiara secured her blush locks. Her beau could be found across the manor championing his bow tie, throwing on his navy-blue dinner jacket and beaming a smile so vivacious it could only be matched by that of his wife-to-be. But there was one furry guest that also had plenty to smile about as well…

Now, for all of you dog lovers and canines out there, perk those furry ears up! Annabel and Rob were the first couple to have their fur-baby present at a Woodhall Manor ceremony. Percy, an energetic Labrador, was celebrating both the unity of his human parents as well as his record-setting ceremony presence. Alongside with the forty guests present, Percy wagged his tail with joy as his mom and dad said, “I Do” and sealed it with a kiss. Or what Percy refers to as a lick.

When we first interacted with Annabel and Rob, we immediately connected with their zest for life. Perhaps it was our like-minded humor, their love for canines or their unmatched moves on the dancefloor. During the toasts, it was apparent that Annabel and Rob’s zest for life left the same impression on so many people. The Woodhall Manor was witness to the confessions of love, respect and admiration for this couple. Guests were tossed between laughter and tears through each speech. Once the dance party began, the Woodhall Manor was set ablaze.
