• Bromley Court Hotel Wedding // Katja & Bojan

After their wonderful engagement shoot at Alexandra Park, we knew that photographing Katia and Bojan’s wedding would be just a vibrant, and we were not disappointed. This gorgeous Bromley Court Hotel wedding took place right at the beginning of the summer and held some truly beautiful and individual surprises…

In fact one unusual and original feature of this wedding was that the Bride and Groom both got ready in the same house! Usually one major advantage we have as a photography duo is that one of us can photograph the bridal preparations whilst the other can be with the groom or at the venue, but this time we were all conveniently under one roof! No superstitions here!

Beauty Call did an amazing job with all the hair and make-up for the bride and it’s always fun to photograph behind the scenes. Katia’s dress was a stunning designer number – Melissa Sweet, bought at David’s Bridal in Wesfield and the beautiful flower arrangements were courtesy of florist Joanna Marriott.

The day was full of unique touches such the Rakia made by Bojan’s parents – Serbia’s National Drink, and later on the Salsa dancing that this was able to fuel!

The ceremony took place at the Manor House in Kent then went on to the reception at Bromley Court Hotel and thankfully it was a bright and clear day allowing for some stunning and playful outdoor shots of the couple in their preferred leafy habitat. We also had a lot of fun posing inside and of course with the delectable Konditor and Cook naked cake.

This Bromley Court Hotel Wedding was an extremely intimate one, with only 39 guests, but it had the energy of 10 times this number. Katja and Bojan love to dance and they literally salsa’d the night away under the multi-coloured disco glow. They were so confident in their own musical choices that they did away with the traditional band and favoured their own ipod! The dance floor was full all night and it was a joy to see the passion we had experienced on their engagement shoot released once again, and shared by their close friends and family. We were capturing so many amazing moves at this time in the evening it started to become a little infectious! However, we managed to refrain just long enough to shoot the story of the newlyweds and their guests.

We hope you enjoy.
